About the book: For years, Aziz Ansari has aimed his comic insight at modern romance, but for the book Modern Romance, he decided he needed to take things to another level. Ansari teamed up with NYU sociologist Eric Klinenberg to design a massive research project, conducting interviews and focus groups everywhere from Tokyo to Buenos Aires to Wichita. Enlisting some of the world’s leading social scientists to help analyze their findings, they produced a result unlike any social science or humor book we’ve seen before. In Modern Romance, Ansari combines his irreverent humor with cutting-edge social science to give us an unforgettable tour of our new digitized romantic world.
