We’ve been lucky to have a lot of nice folks visit over the last four years, some you might know are: Sue Monk Kidd, Stephen Colbert, Jonathan Miles, David Sedaris, Billy Collins, Pat Conroy, Mary Alice Monroe, Robert Jordan, Gary Smith, Nathalie Dupree, Jack Bass, Anne Rivers Siddons, Bill Murray, Steve Earle, Billy Corgan, Mary Whyte, Jonathan Green, Cassandra King, Dorothea Benton Frank, Nikki Giovanni, Josephine Humphreys, Katie Crouch, Peter Orner, Anthony Varallo, Bret Lott, Karen White, Coleman Barks (famous for his Rumi translations), Ken Burger, Jane Borden, Beth Webb Hart, Matt Lee and Ted Lee — The Lee Bros., Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl, Louis Rubin, Nicole Seitz, Lisa Starr, Ted Rosengarten, Marjory Wentworth, Carol Ann Davis, Elizabeth Spires, and Ryan Adams (unconfirmed, but we’re pretty sure it was him. Lauren saw him, and she’s pretty good about identifying celebrities, and she didn’t even know he was playing the Music Hall next door).
Also Dan Marino and John Stossel (noted football player and conservative, respectively. You can’t get more South Carolina than football and conservativism).
