Blue Bicycle Books Spoleto Party Series – Great Books and The Coldest Wine in Town

Thurs., May 28, 5 – 7 pm, Greenville writer Mindy Friddle will sign copies of Secret Keepers (St. Martin’s, hb., $25). I first met Mindy when we both read at the inaugural Piccolo Fiction Open back in 1999 (see below: Sat., May 30), and we’re thrilled to host the Charleston release party for her second novel. Come join us for a glass of wine.

Fri., May 29, 5 – 7 pm. Anne Barnhill will sign copies of her short story collection, What You Long For (Main Street Rag, pb. $15). Come join us for a glass of wine.

Sat., May 30, 5 – 7 pm. Charleston homegirl Katie Crouch will read and sign copies of Girls in Trucks (Back Bay, pb., $14). She’ll headline the 9th Annual Piccolo Fiction Open, a free Piccolo Spoleto event. This year’s PFO winners John Foster, Debra Daniel and Susanna Glattly will read their winning short stories. This was one of the top literary fetes of the festival last year (see for yourself here.) We’re giving you plenty of notice: do not miss out.
