Brian Ray, winner of the Art Commission’s First Novel Prize (sponsored in part by Hub City Writers Project) will sign copies of Through the Pale Door on Sat., Sept. 19, 1 – 3 pm. This Southern Gothic novel about a girl who takes a job in her father’s South Caolina steel mill the summer before college has been getting rave reviews.
