Barbara Hagerty (Twinzilla) and Marjory Wentworth (New & Selected Poems) will speak and sign copies of their new books of verse at a special Poet’s luncheon at Halls Chophouse (434 King St) Fri., Apr. 25, 12 pm.

About the authors: Barbara Hagerty is a poet, writer, photographer and visual essayist who was born in Charleston, SC. She lives with her husband and children in South Carolina, where she divides her time between Charleston and Edisto Island.
Marjory Wentworth is the Poet Laureate of South Carolina. Her poems have appeared in numerous books, magazines, and anthologies. She has been nominated for The Pushcart Prize five times. Ms. Wentworth teaches poetry to cancer patients in “Expressions of Healing” at Roper Hospital in Charleston, SC. She also teaches Creative Writing and English at The Art Institute of Charleston.
