Chef John Besh will sign copies of his latest book Cooking from the Heart (Andrews McMeel, hb., 320 pp., $39.98) at Blue Bicycle Books, Tues., Dec. 17, 12 to 1:30 pm.
James Beard Award-winner Besh is a renowned chef and owner of nine restaurants including August in New Orleans. Featuring lush photography, personal vignettes, and extensive culinary knowledge, Cooking from the Heart revisits the places and flavors that have shaped his culinary journey. The all-new recipes come complete with regional substitutions. He is host of John Besh’s Family Table on public television, and author of the best-selling cookbooks My New Orleans and My Family Table. He lives with his wife and four boys outside New Orleans.
