Goose Creek High School teacher, Mahwish McIntosh, will sign Teaching Hope:  Stories from the Freedom Writer Teachers  at Blue Bicycle Books on Tues., Aug. 18, 5 – 7 pm.
Two years ago, Mahwish (pronounced Meh-vish) trained with Erin Gruwell and other educators in Long Beach, Cal. Gruwell was portrayed by Oscan-winning actress Hilary Swank in the 2007 movie Freedom Writers.
