Emily Arsenault will sign copies of The Broken Teaglass on Sat., Oct. 17. Emily is a family friend* and we are thrilled to be a stop on the tour for her debut novel. She worked as a lexicographer for Merriam-Webster for four years after college, and this murder mystery is for word lovers. We’re currently reading it and we love it — think Bright Lights, Big City‘s New Yorker fact-checker without all the eighties coke-head angst and second-person writing style.
*Her sister-in-law is former Charleston poet Jessica Bundschuh, who along with her husband Steffen are Evelyn’s godparents.
