Pat Conroy’s first novel in 14 years dropped Tues., Aug. 11, and the question of the summer has been, “Is he goign to sign at the Blue Bike?” Short answer: most likely. Store owner Jonathan Sanchez interviewed Pat for the Charleston City Paper and they discussed an event. Pat is a big fan of the store — “It’s very important to me that an independent bookstore is doing well in downtown Charleston,” he said — and wants to do a signing in the Fall.
